This summer make it your mission to try a new brew … but not just any …
In June, award-winning Cornish brewer St Austell Brewery launches a NEW fruit lager – Strawberry Blonde (4% abv).
Cornwall in a Glass…
Nothing says summer more than Cornwall. Strawberry Blonde typifies the chilled out Cornish lifestyle whilst combining some of the finest local ingredients.
Brewed using continental lager brewing techniques, Cornish lager malt made from locally grown spring barley (flavoured by the county’s mild, coastal climate) the brew is combined with locally-grown strawberries from Boddington Berries, and local spring water, which is filtered through Cornish granite.
Taste on the palate is crisp and refreshing with a delicate aroma of the sweet fruit with a hint of vanilla. The new drink is best enjoyed chilled and under the summer sun.
The team at St Austell Brewery are passionate about pushing the boundaries of British brewing. Head brewer Roger Ryman and his team take inspiration from the myriad of beer categories around the world and adapt them for beer lovers in the UK, using authentic brewing methods and local ingredients.
Brewer of the South West’s favourite ales and the region’s leading pub company and wholesaler, St Austell Brewery is one of the oldest businesses in Cornwall and one of the largest, independently run, family owned breweries in the UK.
Strawberry Blonde is available in June online at www.staustellbreweryshop.co.uk and costs £2.45 per 500ml bottle or £20.75 for a case of 12 bottles.
